G6.11 The possible gradual loss of island radiosonde stations
This gap relates to radiosonde stations, mostly at remote islands, which are gradually diminishing recently. Examples include at least Ascension Island and the W. Tropical Pacific ARM site. A potential closure of Gough Island is also under discussion. No further gap description has been made.
